Julian Assange executed?

It has been almost a week since anyone has seen or heard from Julian Assange. His Internet connection was deliberately severed by the Ecuadorian embassy over the weekend in an apparent attempt to keep Assange from influencing the USA elections after Wikileaks released the content of Hillary Clinton’s private (paid) speeches to wealthy banking corporations. At the same time that the world lost contact with Assange, 3 cryptic messages were tweeted which many have come to believe are the result of a ‘dead man’s switch’ that was activated after he was captured/killed.  Wikileaks have confirmed that contingency plans have been set into motion. Since Assange has been silenced several more email leaks have been published, almost daily, by others in the Wikileaks organisation.

Concerned for his safety I decided to do a Grand Tableau reading on the whereabouts of Julian Assange. I wanted to know: what has happened to him?

Before laying down the spread I charged the Man card (28) to represent Assange, the Woman card (29) to represent Hillary Clinton (aka the establishment) and the House card (4) to represent the Ecuadorian embassy where Assange has been arbitrarily detained for more than 4 years under the protection of asylum.

Using the ‘chaining’ technique I came to this alarming conclusion:

assange

Charged card: 4 – House (as embassy)
House>Sun>Ring>Fish>Woman>Garden>Birds>Whip>Scythe>Coffin>Snake>
Clouds>Tree>Paths>Moon>Cross

Embassy>success>commitment>resources>Clinton>publicity>emails>repetition>
executed>end>treacherous>veiled>branch out>departure> reputation>sacrificed.

Based on the above it seems the Ecuadorian embassy’s continued success depends on their commitment and resources linked to the US government; this position is threatened by the publicity of the Clinton emails. To prevent a repetition of further email publications the embassy severed Assange’s (Internet) connection. Furthermore the embassy may have turned a blind eye to Assange’s execution, being careful to veil their treachery. (If this turns out to be accurate we can expect much smoke screening on the part of the embassy.) We see too that the release of Wikileaks publications has ‘branched out’ – as a result of Assange’s departure. His reputation and sacrifice however live on.

Charged card: 29 – Woman (as Hillary Clinton aka the establishment)

Woman>Garden>Birds>Whip>Scythe>Coffin>Snake>Clouds>Tree>Paths>
Moon>Cross>House>Sun>Ring>Fish

Clinton>public>emails>repeat>cut/punish>end/death>dangerous/venomous>smoke & mirrors>health>split/detour>reputation>sacrifice>White House>success>relationship/s>money

From the above I conclude that Clinton is concerned that her public position would be undermined by the email leaks, especially if the leaks continue. To prevent this a decision was made to amputate Assange’s efforts (by cutting his internet access) and to measure out swift punishment possibly resulting in his death. She sees Assange as dangerous, fearing future leaks could penetrate the smoke & mirrors surrounding her health issues which could result in a split in her path to the White House as health revelations could irreversibly damage her reputation resulting in her being ‘sacrificed’ instead of sworn into office. She believes that ending the leaks (and therefore Assange) will result in her successfully entering the White House, a path that has been paved by her relationships (connections) to money (corporations?)

Charged card: 28 – Man (as Julian Assange)

Man>Tower>Stork

Assange>prison>relocate

This short chain suggests that Assange was moved from the embassy, whether dead or alive.

There is much more that can be read in this spread. The first 3 cards open the reading with Key (33) Mice (23) and Child (13). A solution to the loss of innocence. This fits well with the intent behind Wikileaks – to expose the guilty in their corruption and theft. The last 4 cards (a summary) of the reading are: Bouquet (9), Ring (25), Book (26), Moon (32). Gifting us with his commitment to the truth (unveiling secrets) is how he will be known and remembered.

I sincerely hope that I am wrong, that my interpretation is off. I cannot however shake the feeling that Assange’s enemies have done away with him while the embassy turned a blind eye. Any deeper insight or clarity into this reading will be happily received in the comments.

Tarot Technique: DIY Unique Keywords *NEW*

Inspired by the Keyword Kaleidoscope technique taught by Tali from Tarot Town in her Lenormand Course, I took this one step further and accidentally discovered a really easy way to uncover unique keywords and meanings for any card in tarot, without fail; including reversal-meanings. It immediately cuts to the chase both ways; that is to say, in no time at all you can create your own positive and negative traits for any tarot card.

We begin with two simple triangles to form a grid, placing one on-top of the other to form a six-pointed star. The grid positions are marked in the illustration that follows:

grid

In positions 1,2 & 3 write down existing keywords that apply to the card you are working on, these can be found in most tarot books and deck LWB’s. In my example I am focussing on The Fool card. The commonly-accepted keywords that I have decided to use in these positions are:

1. Excited

2. Trusting

3. Care-free

Next, in positions A,B & C we are going to create a new keyword by merging existing keywords together. In position ‘A’ link keywords 1 & 2 to create a whole new keyword, one that it ‘born’ as it were from combining the essence of these two keywords.

After thinking about it for a few seconds the word that I came up with by merging ‘excited’ and ‘trusting’ was ‘anticipate.’  It is not difficult to see how ‘anticipate’ easily fits with the energy of ‘excited’ and ‘trusting.’ I write this new word in position ‘A’ on my grid.

Now, do the same for position ‘C’ combining keywords 1 & 3. In my example the new word created from merging ‘excited’ with ‘care-free’ was ‘child.’ Once more, do the same for position ‘B’ on the grid by combining keywords 2 & 3 to form a new keyword that reflects the essence of these two original keywords. In my example the new word born from merging ‘trusting’ and ‘care-free’ is ‘allow.’ Play with it, there are no ‘wrong’ answers, whatever your subconscious mind links by merging two keywords together is what works, for you!

A: Anticipate

B: Child

C: Allow

We now have 3 new keywords using Tali’s Kaleidoscope technique, but now we are going to take it one step further to discover shadow keywords that will be useful in reverse-card readings too. These we’ll slot into positions AB, AC and BC.

Using the same technique I consider keywords ‘A’ and ‘B’ to create a new keyword born from merging the two, but this time I allow myself to dwell for a moment on a negative possibility. The first thing that comes to mind when a child waits in anticipation of something that does not come is ‘disappoint.’  This then becomes my ‘shadow’ keyword in position ‘AB’ on the grid. Considering keywords ‘A’ and ‘C’ I decide on ‘relinquish control’ as a shadow meaning, derived at by contemplating a negative effect of anticipate’ and allow.‘ Finally for position ‘BC’ on the grid I consider what negative trait could be born from ‘child’ and ‘allow.’ After a few moments I deciding on over indulge as my shadow word.

AB: Disappoint

AC: Relinquish control

BC: Over indulge

This technique is easy to do and can be applied to all tarot cards. Give it a go, you might surprise yourself with the unique keywords that you discover with this method. Share your discoveries in the comments below, we can all benefit from them!

8 of swords – Free Me !!

8 of Swords scan Touchstone Tarot

Sometimes one can be in the perfect mood, and once they leave the house, someone else who is in a bad mood rubs off on them, and steals their joy! There is nothing more annoying to me. We all know the saying, “Misery loves company.” How true.

The other day I went to the grocery store, and the kids were all excited to pick out snacks for their cupboard. We were being silly and dancing in the isles, having a good time. Nothing could steal my joy, absolutely nothing. Or so I thought! After all, I was in the cookie isle.

Upon reaching the cash register, I began unloading my cart and within a few seconds my joy dissipated rather quickly. The cashier was in a funky mood, and decided to take it out on me, the customer.

Back when I was younger I would have told her to stick it where the sun don’t shine and walked out. But, now that I am older, and a responsible mother, I felt like the eight of swords. I was unsure of what to do, and even waiting for the rescue of a manager near by. Which didn’t happen, by the way. I was feeling persecuted, and wasn’t sure which way I should handle the situation.

When you sense or feel a negative mood emanating from someone, try this useful technique to try and understand what it is that’s going on with them. –

First, get yourself out of your own way! Discard the thoughts that you are feeling. Relax, close your eyes, and don’t forget to breath, or you will fall over.

Try to imagine that you are stepping into their shoes, and becoming that person. Feel what they’re feeling. The chances are that you will probably have a better understanding of what is going on, and might even be able to help.

After doing the above technique, I regained my joy, and a smile was back on my face. Apparently I have a beautiful smile because the cashier was no long in a fowl mood. My energies rubbed off on her. See, sometimes a smile really can make a difference.

Back to the 8 of swords. Release yourself from the bondage of misery around you. You have a choice of swords waiting to cut you free. Grab one and cut, what are you waiting for? Whomever tied you up didn’t do such a great job. Take off that blind fold, and see through your feelings. There is a happy ending if you allow yourself one.

Affirmation:

“I am able to share, and trust my true feelings.”

A Lenormand Game: Guessing Cards in their Houses

If I were to say “Beware the Snake posing as friend, a painful bite is how it’ll end.” Can you see that I am referring to the Dog card (friend) in the house of Snake (treason/wickedness)?

Let’s play a game. I’ll list a few of these (rhymes written by me – JbR) and you must try to guess what the Card is and which House it falls into. This is a great exercise for those of us flexing our new Lenormand muscles. Answers below (but guess first, don’t cheat!)

😉

  1. Most excellent outcome shines from above, assuring you the greatest luck in love
  2. Your health is spent the end is nigh, ’tis time to say your final goodbye
  3. You’ve run face-first into a wall the video cam records your fall

Answers:

ɹǝʇʇǝl uı uıɐʇunoɯ ˙ᄐ
uıɟɟoɔ uı ǝǝɹʇ ˙ᄅ
ʇɹɐǝɥ uı uns ˙⇂

Well, I didn’t say I was going to make it easy to read the answers, did I? 😉

The answers are based on the following meanings:

  1. Sun = Positive outcome & great luck. Heart = Love
  2. Tree = Health. Coffin = End & death
  3. Mountain = Insurmountable & immovable obstacle. Letter = Record & recorded

Ready, Steady, Tarot!

An interesting question was posed on the Tarot Professionals Facebook group:

What do readers do when their client sits down for a reading with no questions to ask? Wanting only whatever you ‘can see’ for them?

For the shorter readings that I offer in my tarot practice I always tell clients that it is best to get to the point as soon as possible, seeing as we only have 15 minutes. When they don’t have specific questions (and they often don’t) it is difficult to tell them something about their lives that gives them clarity and answers in such a short space of time. Particularly as I am one of those readers that do NOT want a single client to leave my reading table feeling that my reading was as general or generic as anything their hairdresser or best friend might have told them. If I can’t give answers and clarity in those 15 minutes they have wasted their time and money; well, that’s my philosophy.

For that I need specific questions. This is a problem if the client has no questions at all!

I start my readings by telling them something like this:

I have been reading tarot for 15 years. Over this time I have discovered that the best approach is to get to the heart of the matter as soon as possible, particularly in these short readings. The way that I approach this is through a questions & answers session. I know that most people do not have a list of questions in their head, and even if they did, when I put them on the spot their questions often elude them. That’s okay. Over the years I have also discovered that most questions fall into relatively predictable categories. I’ll go over these with you and I guarantee that by the time I have, you’ll have at least 3 questions. This is not an exhaustive list, it is however a list from which most questions arise during short readings.

The most popular categories from which questions flow are:

Love, the romantic kind: Whether you’re stuck in a past relationship, enquiring about a current relationship or whether you’d like to know if you might attract a future relationship.

Family: Anyone from your dead grandparents to your unborn grandchildren, and everyone in-between.

General relationships: Platonic friendships, neighbours, colleagues.

Career: This includes ‘study’ for students and ‘business’ for business owners.

Finance: Not the same as career. This would cover investments, large purchases and sales such as property, also inheritance etc

Health: I am not a health professional and do not offer medical advice. I can however tell you about current health issues, future health issues and how to possibly avoid them.

Travel: Give me a choice of two or more places that you need to decide between and I can tell you which one will most likely offer you the best experience.

I also tell my clients upfront that they can ask me anything as long as it is not to ‘eavesdrop’ on somebody else’s life, the lotto numbers or exact timing. Anything else is doable.

I have yet to come across a client who cannot find at least 3 questions.

The key (as I tell my clients) is to ask very specific questions to which I can provide very specific answers through tarot. If the question is vague the answer is general. I help them to ‘tweak’ their questions so that they are as specific as possible.

I hope my approach helps those of you who have wondered how to read for someone without questions. This way you’ll always have happy clients who leave there with more clarity than they had walking in.

Happy reading!
