The Review

Do you like fresh squeezed lemons? And freshly squeezed lenormands? Then, this is your deck! A 100% handmade Lenormand! The Freshly Squeezed Lenormand is a very smart, fresh and aromatic creation of Jean Hamilton-Fford. I warn you: this is an experience that will enhance more than one of your physical senses!

The Freshly Squeezed Lenormand comes in a handmade box, designed to keep in the gorgeous Lenormand deck, the bag to keep it safe, and a small aromatic present that will enhance your experience of opening the pack when it arrives home! I still remember the excitement when I open the envelope and was touched by the scent of fresh squeezed lemons. Literally talking. It was amazing! I hesitated if opening or not the box to get my cards just because it smelled so good!

This is, I repeat, a 100% handmade Lenormand deck. Can you image its author trimming each card? Trimming the box? Just an amazing work! This means that cards have been printed and trimmed by its author, as well as packaged one by one before sending it. That’s love freshly packed in each deck. Literally.

The deck consists of 36 Lenormand cards with 4 extra cards: yes, no, later and now. The cards are made with bright collages, with nowadays photos. This is not a vintage deck: this is a fresh deck. Each card also includes a poem where the meanings of the card is hidden. Cards are fresh and happy, plenty of clues and hints. Don’t expect a 100% traditional deck. It is very innovative and smart, and that’s its attractiveness.

These cards are printed on quite thick paper stock. However, if you wish to last them longer, the best thing you can do is to laminate them. I haven’t done that because I like the touch of the paper. It is soft. I prefer to use the cards carefully (but that’s my personal taste).

This is a deck to enjoy not only with your eyes, or hands, but also with your nose. Prepare yourself to have the freshest Lenormand existing right now.
