30 Day Lenormand Challenge – Day 1

The lovely Pepi Valderrama has started a 30 Day Lenormand Challenge, with a new question each day. To kick off the challenge day one’s question is:

How did you end up into the world of the Lenormand?

I am an avid student of tarot, have been for 15 years. I own a successful coffee shop and tarot practice with my business partner who offers remedial & relaxation massage (as the 3rd leg to the business.) In the early part of 2012 the insanely talented Tali Goodwin from Tarot Professionals offered a beginners course in Lenormand. I signed up for the course.

I was completely blown away by what I learnt! So different to tarot, so intriguingly to-the-point was this ‘new’ system of fortune-telling that I was immediately hooked. This Lenormand obsession led me to Facebook study groups where I am learning more about this salon-style of cartomancy.

Because of the simplicity of the cards (unlike tarot) I almost immediately started creating my own Lenormand deck, the Vintage Lenormand which now available for purchase. Without a doubt this is only the beginning of my Lenormand journey. There will be other decks and much more intensive studies for me in 2013.

Lenormand – it is accessible, accurate and easy to learn. If you have not given it a try yet, begin now. I expect it may become your next oracular obsession too.
